There are many things to do in this south central part of Connecticut. The attractions below are not a comprehensive list but rather a diverse cross sections of things my family and I have enjoyed doing over the years.  Some of them simple, like visiting the Dinosaur State park and creating your own fossil foot print, or the more elaborate...dinner and a play.  Additionally you can shoot up to Hartford in an hour and take in a UCONN Huskies Basket Ball Game (Men and Women) orUCONN Football game.  If you are new to the area be aware, baseball aligance is pretty evenly split between the Yankees and the Red Soxs - you are ony a little over 2 hours from either Ball Park and the same for the NE Patriots, NY Jets and Giants not to mention Celtics, Nets and Knicks. Hidden in among the attractions below are two of the countries premier casinos - Mohegan Sun and Foxwood.
